Full Spectrum Plaid Earrings
These exquisitely made cane beads have been turned into earrings that are bright, vibrant and impressive in their simplicity. There are only three hues of primary colors, red, blue and yellow, used in the glass. Due to the transparency and twist given to the cane as it was pulled, the overlap of the colors creates shades of orange, green and purple. The twist detail in the cane is emphasized by the finely ground linear pattern on the surface and the slightly tapered ends of the beads.
